Growing up I was interested in all things outdoors, always anxious to travel and see new things, and curious about everything around me. While in school I studied environmental science and became fascinated with the processes large and small that move and shape our world. I’ve worked as a conservation trail crew member, as an intern with the US Forest Service, as a horticulturist, and now as a land stewardship coordinator, all the while observing and exploring the natural phenomena that occur around us.
Documenting my adventures, I’ll detail interesting things I come across, and share the environmental sciences with a broad audience. For all those interested in the world outside your door, a most sincere and hearty welcome from your Feral Forest Girl.
